On Independence Day, simply posting clips or images with the Indian flag doesn't prove your Deshbhakti. Why love your country for just one single day?
I am currently in Mumbai, and I see flags attached to light poles across every street and colony in celebration of Independence Day on August 15. But I can confidently say that by the very next day, these flags will be lying on the road covered in dirt and mud, or thrown into garbage bins. Does attaching banners or waving flags at every chowk and street really prove your gratitude toward the nation? Is doing this genuinely worth it?
Instead of relying on symbolic displays, you could donate clothes or books, or provide meals for people in need. Think about it.
